Who we Serve?

Ecole C.E.A.L offers its services for children and young adults with special needs and disabilities in the city of Leogane, Haiti. We serve children and young adults with the following disabilities:

• Down Syndrome

• Learning Disability

• Speech and Language Disorders

• Hearing Loss

• Intellectual disabilities

·Educational Services

We have various programs for students with different disabilities. We teach them how to read, write and learn. Our teachers and staff use sign languages, visual aids, and other techniques to educate and communicate with our students. We take extra care and safety measures to ensure that each child gets adequate knowledge and all their special needs are met.

 

·Nutrition

Along with education, we are also concerned with the nutrition of our students. We take care of their meals in our school's lunch facility. We ensure that their meals contain all the nutrients they need and cater to each student's different needs.

·Apprenticeship

To further polish our students' skills and competencies, we are going to offer different programs and courses in Computer, Auto mechanics, Electrical. Baking, Sewing, Plumbing, and Masonry. This will let our students get on their feet and use their skills to excel in their professional life, and they deserve it as much as any other person does.

·Community Outreach

We conduct different activities to improve children and adults' lives with special needs so that they don't stay behind in society due to their disability. We are not here to fulfill just their educational needs; our goal is to provide a comprehensive platform for them that nourishes them and makes them equipped for long-term growth and sustainment in society.
